I'm seriously thinking of leaving RM after 20 years. The options open to me are accept EVR and walk away just under £30k or reduce my hours with no compensation, but explore other avenues of employment due to shift time, probably between 4-10pm.
If I reduce my hours and decide next year that I want to leave under EVR conditions how will my lump sum be calculated? Is it based on current wage at that time or is previous hourage taken into consideration? I have spent 18 years FT and have reserved rights, TPM etc which has enhanced my offer.
TBH I'm in my comfort zone and frankly working in the real world terrifies me. I want to leave but I realise that the grass isn't always greener on the other side

Aren't they still looking for 9 shi(f)t managers at GMC?
You could apply - stay - and do even less work than you do now...........

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
