LOCKOUT !!
Hey ,to me this is far too easy, September gave RM time to regroup and get legal advice, clearly stung by rolling strikes ..What IF you came back to work say Wednesday 10th October to find a lockout ..basicly meaning you wont be allowed in until you agree to work your contractual hours . Give you 4 days to agree those that dont turn up are sacked and reinstated on new contracts if they want a job ...Its food for thought and blimey i've been a postie 20 years and all i say is with these 2 watch your back ... these 2 are dangerous

It's an official strike, although they CAN lock you out,the bits i've seen gets me to think that they have to go through a process 1st.
It is not just a case of locking you out.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
