Used to have a lot of respect for his supposed business nous, but not now. He must waste hundreds of thousands of pounds every year through littering people's doormats with unwanted shyte. Judging by the relentless flood of crap coming from Virmin, I'd say it's not working.

Surely, looking at it logically, if indeed Virmin's flood of crap was having any effect at all, we would see less and less as time goes by, as because it's such a rousing success story, every fooker bar the fool on the hill, has Virmin providing their in-home entertainment?
My money's still on it not being very successful, hence the never-ending flood of shyte from that berk Branson.

Yesterday was the lightest in the two years I've been in the job
Today was the heaviest since the Christmas before last
Will cost them loads in docket. Far more than if they 'streamed' some of the Virgin and Sainsburys shite for every bloody house
99.9% of all Royal Mail managers, both at senior and lickspittle levels, would not, nor ever would be able, to hold the old proverbial piss-up in the brewery.
They certainly put the "Mmmmm" into Moron, and that just about sums up their only talent.

The things i'd do for a 3 hour delivery span...
5 hours in the pissing rain, in at 6.40, out at 9.45 back at 2.50, claimed 20 minutes OT ( ). was so knackered as i didnt get much sleep the night before I went straight to bed at 4pm!

Yeah, obviously a resounding success. For the umpteenth time this year so far, had another shedload of Virmin shyte today.
That creep Branson has really pissed people off with his relentless flood of shyte, and not just us poor posties.
Just put "Virgin media junkmail" into your google search engine, and you will see more than one forum dedicated to the worst serial junkmailer we have today.
Moved from the walk i was doing, but only after i'd stood at the frame and finished the prep and was about to start bundling. Suddenly 3 docket kings swooped down and grabbed 1/3rd each. Sorry Muggins you're on another walk today. The new walk is right on the outskirts of town, obv someone called in sick, they needed it covering and the docket kings didnt fancy travelling all the way out there so i got the sh*tty end of the stick.
No direct bus on a Saturday, took an age to get to the 1st delivery point, one of those estates laid out by that town planner that got savaged to death by his guide dog, the house numbers dont flow and you have to guess as half the doors arent numbered.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
I have to agree. I'm sick of Postman Plodd's atypical "walked twelve miles to first delivery point, struggled around for two weeks, booked 74 hours overtime" stories. Reasonable request applies if you can do everything in your allotted hours, without having to use your own equipment, money, and without unnecessarily exposing yourself to excess risk. I don't think you were reasonably requested at all!
Anyways. Today was probably the best day of the week for me. Finally got used to the round, got a decent method in terms of splitting bags and doing what in which order. Lots of back-to-back bits on this walk which annoy me because they're a pain in the arse having to zig-zag along on the bike. But the walk itself is okay. Drags on but in the goldilocks range in terms of size. I can plod along perfectly and get back on time.

If that had been me I would have gone home sick then the stupid managers would have had another walk to cover.
The wettest day I have seen on my time on this planet, from the moment I walked out the door to the moment I got home torrential rain, piss wet through thanks to the brilliant waterproof jacket royal mail issues, and its still raining, global warming gtfoh.
