I would imagine Moyas perception of a failing office and the workers perception are totally different.

I would like to know what CWU HQ's perception of a failing office is and whether it is closer to Moya's vision or there own membership's.

Moya's idea of a failing office,could it be the same as her idea on cutting accidents at work by 50%?????? i believe that is how she put it in conference,where as our idea of offices clearly not working is by the amount of stuff that don't go anywhere or is bought back,Moya would be like our managers it is a people issue!

Managers with bits of paper attached to clipboards telling us how low the mail is today, how long the delivery should take. Puzzled expressions on their faces asking 'why you will be going over?'. Managers with mobile phones taking pictures of frames on light days. Managers standing behind colleagues with stopwatches, pulling anyone over not quite meeting their standards. People getting removed from duties because they are unable to make the impossible, possible.

These tosspots have not done a delivery since 1970, if ever.

Never before have RM been so damned obsessed with time and motion studies. It will not work and it cannot work. Every single postman/woman knows that each day on delivery is different and no round can be timed to such obsessive standards, where nothing unusual every happens, day in and day out.

Well for starters when the amount of hours removed from an office far outweighs the amount required to do the job. Constant cut offs and unachievable workloads arise.

A revision is basically just an excuse to pile on even more work to already pushed posties. You can only push so far however or you get a failed revision.

Just re-read the list and my office is already listed lol

I dont have any actual figures to base this on, however, I think my office has actually increased hours post-revision lol. They initially started off with x amount of hours, quickly realised that was waaaay short, increased to y hours and in turn increased the amount of duties there were in the office.
