Just ask your manager lol.I dont suppose theres anything wrong with embracing it if you can make it work for you.Theres staff in our place on static nightshift duties sitting on the early picking up there night allowance and have been for 18months theres even family friendly staff who insisted they could only do certain shifts doing it i think thats totaly wrong though when people cant get what they need on the floor and these cult members are doing that upstairs and havent sorted an item of mail in 18 months yet they insisted years ago they could only do nightshifts for family reasons. Some of them make the photos and arrows look that good on the boards they dont have to work fridays anymore. If the face fits n all that ya kna. :no no

I just love the fact that they give you PRIOR warning to them turning up to assess you for WCM.... Gives managers plenty of time to order staff about to clean up the building and stuff Artic's full of crap and hide them down the road...
And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

That sounds familier, when we had our audit there was a bin placed in every nook and cranny in the office, when the WCM Tean left they were all withdrawn never to be seen again, oh yeah and a broom to every 5 member of staff.

Regarding the Blog.
We had a terrific day on Friday 1st June, with our Auditors Mark Higson and Professor Yamashina.
We scored a terrific 38 points, advancing 8 points since our last Internal Audit in February 2012.
We still have so much to do and received many 'gifts' from the Auditors.
What the hell does this mean?

What gifts?

It's beginning to sound like some sort of religious cult, have any of you heard of Scientology?

Since it's audited by Yamashina's own people i expect the Professor received many "gifts" in return.
Small denominations and unmarked of course. :whistle

It's what back handers are called in Japan you know.

Gift money means a back hander, I'm sure there is a literal Japanese translation for the term somewhere.

they have always said your school days were the best.
its great , its like going back to school every day and wondering up and down the corridors reading schoolmates assignments displayed up on the walls.
i think when i get older and so clever , maybe one of my assignments will get displayed and i will be welcomed into the inner circle ....dum de dum....

He has a taste for wine .... and we're not talking £5.99 Tesco either. At Greenford while the then MCM was re-selling the uneaten sandwiches from the WCM Audit in Quadrant the professor was given a case of fine wine and treated to a three course meal at a well known Indian Restaurant nearby together with the rest of the WCM 'gang' (not that the MCM wanted to affect the results of the audit you understand).

But when I was at school the staff, correctly, assumed that I knew how to ascend/descend the stairs without falling over the rails or bumping into other school children. We didn't need chevrons either on the running track to stop us colliding with the athlete in front.

Maybe it's me, but WCM ideology assumes that every OPG is as thick as $hit and I find the whole process patronising. Fair enough improve things but get one Mail Centre/Delivery Unit right and then roll out the best practices to everywhere else at minimum cost ... Oh I forgot, what would happen to the WCM 'teams'?

Due to cut backs, and efficiency savings the ten pillars have reduce to three and renamed.
