Got told something today, it'll be interesting to see if anyone else has been told the same thing - We're no longer allowed to keep any yorks in the office, nor are we to keep any trays........we're not allowed to put mail into trays to take them out in the vans and instead we've to put all mail into pouch bags, anyone else?

Doesn't matter to me, it just means that instead of the 1 bag that I now use they're going to have to get me another 23 to cover all the loops I do (not including the packets that also have to go into the bags now which may put that number up).

Got to love RM thinking :chuckle :chuckle

Marginally better than yesterday, mail wise. Warm but overcast most of the day. Not been quite as bad as I thought, considering we have a double bank holiday weekend coming up. Just hope tomorrow isn't a minger. :pray

I think if you are on park and loop everything is meant to be bagged up before you leave the office but as you pointed out i would like to see where they are going to get all these bags from

Haven't you guys got the red bags with handles at the top, like a shopping bag kind of thing? You bag up your loops in them, stick them in the van and they just slip into your pouch without having to mess around. There are hundreds and hundreds of them in our store.

Back on topic, last week was a complete piece of p*ss every day, the lightest week of the year by a long way. Latest finish 12.30

DGP does'nt have them over there. Have to say the inserts don't last very long, they get torn or the handles come unstitched but definitely better and quicker than using sacks.

Never heard of them, tbh it's just easier to use the trays but then I'm not paid to think, just to put letter through a door.

We have the nylon bags and i think they are really good. It means you can use just one main pouch and refill from them as you go around the delivery. Then you fold them up to bring them back and they weigh nothing
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........
