We have just started P and L and it is obvious already that the workload is not achievable. My policy now is to a) keep a diary detailing times etc b) ask the management non-confrontationally to suggest ways in which the work can be achieved. They are paid to manage so make them work for it.

I did as requested by the planners, I timed the loops on a Thursday and gave it to them, I've been leaving at my dispatch time it takes an extra few minutes to arrive to the route. My manager keeps going on about me leaving in the last 3 loops and mail flow, we can't get to them before our cut off time. But we are getting timed apparently next week. What happens with bad weather, Xmas they haven't got a scooby doo
