Well that's not clear and even if it was an extra £100 that's £2 a week less tax and insurance..................I'm definitely looking at ways to spend the windfall, even though I have to wait 18 months and if I'm still here the pro rata amount may just put a full tank of juice in my car. I think I can honestly say it won't change my way of life Except of course we haven't been told exactly what it is they are asking in return!

New terms. You do a walk on your way into work in the morning, another when you get there, and a further walk on your way home at night. Overtime a thing of the past. Anyone keeling over on duty will be dragged to the nearest Atos office for immediate confirmation that you are no longer fit for purpose. CWU fees will need to be increased by 200% in order for them to maintain such an outstanding service and commitment to improving bonuses and getting a small proportion of the Colleague Share Money that was ours in the first place.

No it isn't clear and could mean anything but assuming it was every year and taken purely as an increase in Christmas Bonus it would be impressive.

If it was a forever deal it's no more than we deserve for the hard work over that period more especially the amount of packet increase. What worries me is that it is announced in the same breath as WCM which is a nebulous idea to say the least and considering the £1200 quid we didn't get if it started in 2013 it would take us to 2025 and with the best will in the world.................considering my age they should give it to me up front

Christmas 2012 would be a joke. 2013 just a bunch of clowns. Think I will buy a packet of semi warm Cornish Pasties, and eat them in a static mobile home, and send anything left over to charity. What a bunch of plonkers we have running the institutions of this country.

National Talks - Outstanding Phase 2 Issues



In addition to the new agreements reached with Royal Mail that we reported and circulated in an LTB earlier today, significant progress has been made on all outstanding Phase 2 national talks.



The current situation is as follows:-



ColleagueShare – A proposal has been agreed in principle that includes the opportunity for a final independent audit of the legal and financial aspects of the scheme. Furthermore, we have secured a separate remuneration payment for eligible Royal Mail Group members and a commitment to develop new productivity schemes as part of our immediate Phase 3 talks. The detail of this proposal is now being drawn up as a National Joint Statement and we hope to be in a position to publish an overall agreement in the very near future. The Union will need to pursue this matter separately with POL.



Pace of Change/Delivery of BT Benefits – A firm proposal is now on the table and we hope to conclude an agreement on this in the very near future.



Outstanding Pay Related Issues (Professional Drivers in Delivery) - A firm proposal is now on the table and we hope to conclude an agreement on this in the very near future.



The Postal Executive will be considering the aforementioned further following meetings with Royal Mail due to take place next week. Further information will be sent out in due course.

As I recall the last productivity scheme, for my office, produced the grand old sum of FA. You know the one where RM and the workforce shared the savings, well guess what, we had no way of knowing what savings amounted to and lo and behold the RM accountants came up with zilch - sound familiar? We should tell them to F off with the productivity scheme payments and tell them we will negotiate annual pay rises - but of course you need balls for that.
