Is This Normal?

Post by nubbz »

I got my first offer of work today and I obviously jumped at the chance.
The problem being is, I have had no induction day (do they even do induction days?) so I will not have a clue what I am doing.
I've been told that I'll be shown what to do.. I have a feeling they will not find this out until I arrive though.
So, is this normal? Am I just trying find a issue when there is none?

Where, delivery office or mail centre,i think with either one,as a flex resource casual there won't be an extra days pay wasted (in RM's view NOT mine) on crap.
Bit of training when you 1st get in then get stuck in.

Here buddy how long were you waiting before they contacted you regarding the shift? Just wondering because I have just recently got my ID badge and they havent got in contact with me yet.. So you reckon its best for me to call them regarding shifts or to hold out and wait on them calling me which i dont think is gonna happen :arrrghhh

Moment I got the badge I called them asking them to change my contact and bank address. About an hour or two later I got two texts offering work. Overlapping unfortunately.
May have just been coincidence, I doubt it though.
