we all know that after 6 months of being on the sick you go down to half pay
i have heard that the 6 months worth of absences is a grand total of days over a 4 YEAR PERIOD
SO YOU TRIGGER THE 6 MONTHS HALF PAY IF YOUR ABSENCE TOTAL 6 MONTHS OR MORE OVER A 4 YEAR PERIOD
this is news to me so confirmation would be nice
18 months ago i was off for six weeks because of my knee, i am off again now with an expected return date of 8 to 12 weeks
so i am pretty close
also
if the accident was an accident on duty then its 12 months sick pay i believe
is this correct or am i barking up the wrong tree and should stop listening to rumours

I have just spoken to the department of work and pensions
THEIR IS NO TIME LIMIT TO REGISTER AN INDUSTRIAL INJURY,
if claiming industrial injury benefit though it will only be backdated three months
they are sending me out a claim pack, not bad considering i had the accident three years ago and once registered i will be guaranteed full pay for 12 months and not six from royal mail

hi ive just been in touch with HR about full pay for 12 months because of an accident on duty which was unavoidable i produced this document below and they tell its upto my line manager if i will get this pay or not but my line manager has already sent me a letter stating i will be on reduced pay from the six month date how can this be upto a manager to decide this if this is stated in a policy what if you dont get on with this manager can some one enlighten me please. as what to do next.
