Hi all,
Within a few weeks time my time will probably be coming to an end with Angard. Now, I know there's a few (RM) vacancies posted up on a notice board that aren't online. Within reason what can I and what can't I apply for? Also if I can apply for them is it the same situation if its posted on the wall in another MC/DO?
Cheers
Dan H

Unless there is a clause in your contract I can't see any reason why you can't apply for any job within Royal Mail that is available to the public.
However some "vacancies" you see on the notice board may not be a job vacancy available to the public, but may in fact be a vacant duty that they are trying to get a volunteer to take, these are usually kept in house and done on a seniority basis. I don't think there would be any harm though in asking the Manager in charge of the Unit if there are vacancies.

Access to information about vacancies
From day one of an assignment, agency workers have the right to be provided with information about relevant vacancies in the hirer’s workplace so that the agency worker has the same opportunity to apply for vacancies as a comparable worker working for the hirer.
