Last week saw the 100,000th unique visitor to myroyalmail.com – a fantastic achievement (even if we do say so ourselves) just six months after its launch.
In 'our' last 6 months,we've had 138,417 unique visitors to the site, and both sites use the same stat counter Google Analytics.
Well done RMCers. :thumbup

The difference between the two sites is that you are only likely to learn the truth on one of them :nana

Royal Mail is forced to create MRM due to this site, they are feeling the heat, they feel threatened by a well informed workforce, I certainly used it to my advantage especially in relation to managing your workload and filter the bullsh1t from the Linos, it certainly caught them on the back foot on the things I know and they couldn't argue against the text of the agreement :dance

This has now become one of the best websites/forums for the employees of a single organisation in the UK and I will continue to be a regular reader/contributor. The quality of posts/replies has improved immensely over the past 12months demonstrating the commitment and intelligence of the vast majority of users. It is a very powerful medium for staff to voice their concerns and interact and I can only see positives from a group of people who share genuine concern for their colleagues and the business that they work for.

The MRM site is slick and well maintained as you would expect with the kind of money thrown at it but it is completely let down by it's content which is bland, uninformative and bordering on propaganda.
The perfect example is the workplace section which you would expect from a site dedicated to employees would be it's most interesting...what you are actually met with is Our strategy..

The fact that this site has been running for almost 6 years and can still blow it out of the water on unique visitors says it all.
MRM's figures will drop significantly as the novelty wears off and visitors realise it's a flash exterior with nothing of interest going on behind it.
The CWU site in my opinion does contain a lot of useful information but unfortunately you have to be wearing your lucky underpants to find what you are looking for.
It's search facilities are like playing pin the tail on the invisible donkey. :cuppa
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

By far the best category result is the visit duration.
7 minutes is huge.
most websites cant keep people from surfing on to the next site within a few seconds.

google analytics suggest 3 minutes or less is an average. 153.9 sec

Despite the Whooping, the stats are down on here big time over the last few months.
Have peeps given up,are they bored with the site.

Think we need to start a naughty rumour to kick start us again.
