A source tells me

Post by stephen500 »

Well this is from a 'source', accuracy i am not sure of but i will give it to you anyway.
Royal Mail put forward its dracoian proposals which they know will be rejected, the union ask to put forward counter proposals which Royal mail say they will look at. Every one knows up to here!
But my source says that there will be an announcement this week that Royal mail will accept the unions proposals which amount to giving Royal Mail exactly what they asked for prior to the dispute!Everyone feels great that the dracoian rejected agreement of this week has been replaced by more 'sensible' proposals.
The Royal Mail and the Cwu both save face, so they think!
Remember this may not be accurate, but if i find out it is my blood will boil!
I didn't strike for some political game or to achieve nothing!
I want an improvement on the original offer and i expect my pension to be safe and retire at 60!

That's right, Vigilante. :Applause

The days when we blindly accepted "recommendations" from our Union's hierarchy, are well and truly past. :cool

Had a look at our counter proposal today - it is not bad at all - but I am convinced RM will laugh it out of court!

Of course keep it secret-just like the rest of the dealings have been done - and I have to say when the secrets are out I haven't liked them one bit.
