I'm STILL waiting for Uniform to sort out my trousers, as I'm rather tall, and RM refuse to believe my sizes that I sent them for a "custom" pair..
I can't wear them, as the crutch is a little on the tight side, so I sent them back.. Uniform then sent another SMALLER pair...
Going around in a pair of Tracksuit bottoms at the minute - Even the Shorts RM sent ripped after less than a months use, and I'm STILL waiting for them to send a replacement pair!!!

Re: Uniform policy
And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.
You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

I didn't think MC staff had to wear uniform at all, it was only us customer facing plebs that had to wear itStormproof wrote:Not only the polo shirt but all the uniform.Chimps_tea_party wrote:Apparently managers at the new Medway MC have been told they have to wear a red polo shirt like the OPGs.

Perhaps its because with WCM and the crash sorting we have to do in DOs, the plan is to use them to cover the cut offs.DGP1 wrote:I didn't think MC staff had to wear uniform at all, it was only us customer facing plebs that had to wear itStormproof wrote:Not only the polo shirt but all the uniform.Chimps_tea_party wrote:Apparently managers at the new Medway MC have been told they have to wear a red polo shirt like the OPGs.

Re: Uniform policy
My thoughts exactly, 4 MC's into 1 and a lot of people won't know who are OPG's and who are managers.chunk wrote:makes it easier for them to sneak up on you...Chimps_tea_party wrote:Apparently managers at the new Medway MC have been told they have to wear a red polo shirt like the OPGs.

Re: Uniform policy
Ours just wear the uniform but in such a way that most look scruffy and I don't get it, my last job I wouldn't dream of having my shirt untucked so why would I now? You get given it for free so why wear your own clothes?
However shoes seem to be whatever you like too. But I suppose we only shove letters through the door so who cares what we wear?

and no part of it is anywhere near the quality we had in the past and to me just reflects todays management
attitude to the job...a bit like the seventies comedy show "Never the quality,Feel the width"
