Hello chaps I am looking for any documentation that states what your duty entails reason being got hct duties that do the IPS now some of these lads are being brought off the IPS and told to throw a walk in.
Ive looked in the B/T 2010 agreement and found nothing ,also I know and so do management they are doing wrong.
Without written evidence my hands are tied so is there a document that clearly states if your due for IPS etc that is what your day entails,without being brought off to do other work i.e prep as this is now leading to confrontation with management and the staff.

21.4 JOB DESCRIPTION
Every job will have its own Job Description, which must contain the following features:
• The work area(s) that the duty relates to.
• Employee start/finish times per day and time of transfer from one work area to another, where an employee is working in more than one work area.
• Starting activity (so that employees know what task to start on when the move into a Work Area.)
• Full range of activities throughout the shift.
• Performance Standards, which incorporate Appropriate Relaxation Allowances.
• Total attendance time (gross)
• Meal Relief times to ensure that the agreed Royal Mail standards are applied across the Business.
• The Duty Number.
• The date of the last amendment

On occasions, where the deliveries/collections may be at risk, you may be asked to assist in carrying our other tasks appropriate to your duty or within the unit. When this happens, you manager will explain the reasons to you prior to the change.
You will be trained for all tasks you are required to carry out, if they are different from your normal duty.
Work Area plans and performance standards will be displayed within your Work Area/Unit.
Total weekly hours of attendance = xx hrs

Sometimes we are on the IPS.
Sometimes we are on double/triple prep.
Depends what p/t walks need prepping. Depends what staff we have available.

I do clash never thought of that, woof most helpful cheers.
Reason I want the document or written proof is we have had our full revision 8 weeks its been in for now and lads chose duties on what the duty builder showed as there daily duty I.E ips,double prep or single prep depending on there preference . Now management are moving the goal posts and this is not what duty builder dictated as it optimised all duties.

Regarding the P&L vans does anyone know who tops the oil up on these vans and what happens if you put too much oil in, which I am told is not good for the engine, thanks
