i do armani but i don't do it for r.m .... this is just a job no pride in it whatsoever just pays some bills ... on dd . But i don't have to go to the bank as i can live quite comfortably on other earings and i dont have to do it if i dont want to either not everyone has that option though but those that once took pride in the job are slowly turning their backs on r.m as it's now a bad employer under the regimes of crazier and lateone :lfo :lfo :cfo :cfo and i fear that many good posties will be lost if these idiots are left here for much longer

I have pride in the job but with Royal Mail putting profits ahead of service I want to stay in and fight that mindset. I am allowed to.

Denial - have you checked the facts with a 6.7% pay rise that would equate at least to me a £12 - £13 take home pay rise. Just with the D2D proposals I will loose between £20 and £30 per week so taken together I would be £7 - £18 per week worse off if we had the 6.7% rise straight away. They also want to increase the amount of D2Ds we do, add on to our walks in summer and when sickness/leave occurs without any extra re numeration. So would you accept a deal that makes you week by week worse off, but expects more work and longer hours Please answer this both Armani and Gazza.[/quote]

I'm certainly an angry man, but hardly a sad one. I'm quite a cheerful type of bloke. Anyway, it's not intimidation at all. It's justice. They're not doing a job at all. Anyone can sit about drinking tea or lean on a York while the real workers get on with the job. They're parasites. No more, no less. A bit like yourself, except with a few years service in.
