That is your opinion but its hard to beleive that such attacks have happened without provocation but this is how it happened there is no more to the story thats it and i think everyone involved including myself but he evidence is there in glorious cctv, pohos and i am sat here woth two black eyes several bruises this person has inflicted pain on another person i have spoken with the police and they have told me it was section 47 and they due to as they put it'white collar crap' even though all the evidence including her statement on tape which my solcitor now has she is guilty but because its her first offence they caution instead of charge her-its only a matter of time before this happens again as she appears a very unbalanced person and maybe i was a threat in some way when i have copies of everything and the case is heard i would only be too happy to let all at royal mail know the outcome, why would i come on a forum for postpersons and fabricate a story?dvbuk55 wrote:As an outsider looking in I have to say, Maisie, there appears to be a lot more to this story than you are revealing. The person who allegedly assaulted you was not representing Royal Mail. She was a private individual in a public place. Had she been in uniform and going about her duties for Royal Mail at the time then of course it would have been a different issue. If you feel that justice has not been done then your argument is with the Police. I am actually surprised a solicitor is even taking issue with Royal Mail as it isn't any of their business.maisie wrote:Hi Thanks for giving so much time on my issues with this,as she was not charged does this mean she is innocent, when there is very strong evidence including a cctv tape which i have witnessed today and a statement from the landlady involved saying that this person was the agressor and because this is her first offence then she has been cautioned and now has a criminal record so looks like she has made a very costly assault, so i was a member of the public in a public place and i was attacked twice by someone who represents royal mail just as i reprsent social services if i attacked or abused someone for no reason my employers would be told and i would be struck off as you should be setting and example.dvbuk55 wrote:"As for Royal mail if i went for a job and had a criminal record i would not get the job based o the information and if it was for an unprovoked attack which caused pysical, emotional and mental harm then i do not think that would be an ideal candidate to work in a position of trust and dealing with the public so i feel that if she had of been charged her employers would have been informed and they can make the decision i have spoken to head office and they confirmed this."
I still wonder what you think this has to do with Royal Mail? This person was already employed by Royal Mail prior to this incident, it is totally unconnected with her employment. The fact that you do not consider this person fit for her job is really neither here nor there.
Although we think its her only offence this may be the only one she has been reported for!
I thankyou for allyour comments and hope i have explained to you in more detail.
I am intalks with royal mail and my slicitors to see if we can let her manager know, thank you
The fact is if royal mail did a crb check she has a criminal record and should be dismissed because she is violent unpredictable and may do it again or may have done it before but nobody has reported it.
I am of the opinion that you feel she has not done anything have you ever done jury service let me know ill make sure when my trial comes up i'll be let off scott free for any offence cheers!
