So to do this, you’d need to sell at a decent discount, perhaps 53p per stamp, which cuts the return down. And to make it worthwhile, it’d need to be in bulk. Don’t think too much about selling hugely to the business market, as even after the price hikes the cost of 1st class franking will be only 44p, and 31p for 2nd class.
So the answer is no. :cuppa
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

I think the whole nation should get involved in this moneyspinner.Real money would enter the economy instead of the need for quantative easing aka printing money ala Mr Mugabe.

When the greedy ones try to sell them they realise that everybody else pretty much has bought them as well so no- one can sell them as everyone has got them already

As a result ,after an initial period of postal depression aka the tuppeny blues, the greedy public are forced to use them on cards and letters to friends and family they havent talked to for years

Peace and harmony returns to the land and David Cameron takes the plaudits claiming this as his Big Society.

Meanwhile huge amounts of profits roll into RM who divide them equally and fairly amongst those at the top.

Well you never know lol :Very Happy

That's right, and with each household only spending about 50p a week on stamps there won't be a big demand for stamps at a bit of a discount off 60p.

I can only think the only people who could make a bit of cash are people who sell them daily as part of a business. These greedy investor types buying 100 000 at a time, I hope ' lose a packet' to coin a phrase lol

If you’re an eBay seller, there could be profit to be had. Those who sell on eBay often charge postage, based on the prevailing rates. Therefore stocking up on stamps now at 46p when you can charge 60p for first class postage is an easy way to net those who sell frequently on eBay a handy profit
Bit naughty Martin, there is enough scamming with postage charges as it is on there.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
