still waiting on xmas money?

Hi just wondering if anyone else is still waiting on christmas casual wages - im owed £200 still, and everytime i speak to them they assure me ill get it soon...

Any advice?

I would like to add that I think it's fcuking scandalous that 3.5 months after Xmas that you still haven't been paid!

Hi I was always wondering if there is a time limit for claiming money off of employer (have had endless problems with wrong hours over 2 years as casual with Royal Mail most of the time lazy people at the delivery offices; some hours I know have not been paid and 4gotten about which was bad then worse with Angard, although I never got debt collecting letters or got paid £0.1p thankfully, now I just have to put up with fuk ups at royal mails end and also Angard and they never seem to take responsiblity) anyway unfortunately it seems there is as I found this solicitor's website Stephensons http://www.stephensons.co.uk/site/indiv ... pay_wages/ and it appears the limit is 3 months so you may want to hurry if this is true so you get back as much as possible at least! I don't know though I have zero knowledge in the legal department luckily not had to do this yet.

Angard never get back to me even though they ask for my contact details, I phoned about 2 weeks ago - nothing still short on money all they have to do is get someone to get the damn time sheets checked at the delivery office against my hours I gave em seriously frustrating. Sorry rant over good luck by the way ;)

Just re-read the article, it seems you can still go to civil court (small claims I guess) so that's a relief then in some ways not sure if you can do this if you are still employed though as the wording makes it sound as though to file against them your employment has to have been terminated QUOTE:

"You can bring a breach of contract claim in a Tribunal if you are an employee, your employment has terminated and you are owed money by your employer which you are entitled to under your contract of employment.

The claim must be issued within 3 months’ less one day of the date that your contract was terminated (e.g. if your contract terminated on 2 November 2009 your claim must be issued by 1 February 2010) and the Tribunal can only deal with claims that are worth less than £25,000.

If you are not an employee or you have missed the deadline for bringing a claim in the Tribunal then you can issue a claim in the Civil Courts. The claim must be issued within 6 years of the date that the breach of contract occurred (e.g. the date that the money was due to be paid to you)."

Dunno all the legal stuff gets confusing!
