A MALE postal worker was left with a broken nose when he was struck by a stone in the Stewartstown Road last week.
The man was delivering in the area at around 10.30am when a stone was thrown at him striking him in the face.
Officers investigating this incident are keen to hear from witnesses and would particularly like to speak to anyone who can help them identify two 15-16 year old youths spotted in the area at the time. It is believed one of these teens was wearing a blue and white baseball cap.
Police can be contacted at Lisburn police station by calling 0845 600 8000

Hit by a stone, more like a house brick to break your nose, hope the postie recovers and they can catch the scum that threw it.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:http://www.lisburntoday.co.uk/news/loca ... -1-3706649

Nothing to do with sectarianism, just thugs picking on an available target, nurses, doctors, ambulance drivers, fire crews, posties etc.

Were it not for the doctors one might assume it's the uniforms that gets them going.DGP1 wrote:Nothing to do with sectarianism, just thugs picking on an available target, nurses, doctors, ambulance drivers, fire crews, posties etc.
