Transfers now through RM website

I was told you can now apply for transfers through the RM website. And that i can also get txt alerts on when a position is free.

How exactly do i do this? step by step what do i click ect....just to make sure i do it right.

hmm ok, ive been to the jobs page and selected where i want to go etc...but this just seems like the normal jobs application where anyone can apply. Boss said i could apply to TRANSFER thro the site which gave me the impression that theres a specific TRANSFERS page to go on!
Not so sure now.

(i want to transfer to Wells BA5 or somewhere close by ) but i don't think its gonna happen

While I don't think that thats true, London does seem to have a direct hotline to the top to get things sorted, the rest of us just have to wait & prey for things to be taken up at CWU HQ level.

yep ive chosen other roles...id even do indoor sorting all day if it gives me a shorter drive to work.

honestly , ive asked for ANY D O in the whole of somerset ! surely there must be ONE full time vacancy ???=(

i don't feel like my dom is helping much . seriously what can i do, its ridiculous, my union rep is hardly ever in now ,dunno why . could he help me?

The transfer system in RM is veeeeeery bad,pointless tbh.
The advise we usually give on here is to contact the office/s yourself and do your own leg work.
