Re: Easter Saturday
We seemed to have an increase in Easter cards this year as well as an increase in packets ,despite Royal Mail not advertising like they used to!.
I find it odd that we do not advertise any more http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbVFuydEFSQ
and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puR1NpdZYqM
The competitors certainly do http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fu0Ti7-HdLg
A foreign company providing logistics for a "BRITISH" olympics , yeah right, why is that then ?, do we not exist anymore??
The company policy is to whine about the internet taking our business away but do they intend to fight back by pointing out how little worth there is in a happy birthday e-mail or wedding invite e-mail or congratulations e-mail etc etc ?.
I wonder if the company is actually being steered by the ghost of Captain Smith to an intended doom.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

All of our Angard staff are gone now, a pity because a few of them were quite good but were dropped like hot potatoes.POSTMAN wrote:Bedford you are wrong,Royal Mail are using the internet to advertise this very minute, and every minute!...

And also be secure in the knowledge that we at least in Scotland and Northern Ireland are protected by law in the eventuality of dog attacks taking place on private properties.clashcityrocker wrote:Agreed.bringon4dayweeks wrote:your day off at new year is betterclashcityrocker wrote:I don't have a day off tomorrow.
Can I moan about everyone with one moaning about people moaning about people moaning about it. (or not)
Perhaps we should try and bring the rest of the UK in line with Scotland.
I'm sure you'd enjoy free prescriptions as well.
