heard today that rm are bringing in 6am to 2pm monday to friday next march, and doing away with the rota week/day, anyone else heard this? :lfo :cfo :lfo :cfo

THATS BEEN A RUMOUR FLOATING AROUND FOR AGES MATE.
THEY ARE AFTER THE FLOAT MEN IN THAT IDEA OBVIOUSLY.
6-2 FOR TOWN
6.30-2.30 RURAL OR 6.45-2.45

Not sure about the monday to friday 6-2. My idiot DIM reckons there will be a 6-2 saturday, keeping the rota with rotating day off

not a lot we can do until postcomm say we dont have to deliver 6 days a week.

thats what it is in our office starting oct 8th..

unless the non existing union try to stop it before then..the times are already printed off and on the board..mon-sat 6-2.

isn`t in all offices then?
thats what i thought...im just hoping that the union jump in before these late starts actually take effect..that was part of the reason why we were striking i thought..and we havent heard a peep from the union..

Whats the issue with starting at 0600 you get a lie in and they are going to pay you the same money....

that issue with the same money is just to keep you sweet..how long before they stop paying you that 3/4 months...

and do you really want to work to 2 oclock on a saturday..
that means all the mailsort that you dont normally do will be getting done...and lots more sorting and work on a saturday..

Don't mind working till 2pm and seeing that Swap Shop is no longer on I really don't mind. They are keeping you sweet so put your hand in the sweety jar.
