This is where the problem is!
mojothefishmo wrote:any time made on sat (due to being allowed out an hr early than normal ) mainly down to less traffic ,then your time will be added up[ and you will be made to stay and do killers untill 39 hrs is reached
If there is less traffic, then everyone should do the additional indoor element, (Kills/RLBs/RTSs, updating walk logs, even dishing out next weeks DTDs), before leaving for the outdoor element.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Well went straight to the union this morning and low and behold policy is now being changed to if you make on Mon or Tues we would like you to start 30 mins early wed thurs fri, thats if you owe anything if you think youll make sat they would like you to do 30 mins fri early which is fine but it still leaves you wih the problem of cutting off when volume is too high

Ps I was given the 20 mins back so i get an early out tom

Use your trollys people cause if you make time they WILL take it back !!

Its more about being flexible if a few people didnt start early on wed/thurs/fri they wouldnt be working there 39 hrs ,and its not cause the walks arnt long enough its because they run round ,so its only right they pay it back
Payed for 39 hrs just work it and chill stop trying to make time those days are gone

It isn't about making time.
It is about management aligning hours to workload properly.
If everyone finishes early on Tuesday but goes over Thurs/Fri then hours need to be taken out of Tuesday and put in to Thurs/Fri.
Not everyone can vary their hours to suit the incompetence of managers.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
