THE storeroom of the British Postal Museum will be opening its doors to families next Saturday.

The store, in Unit 7, Imprimo Park, Lenthall Road, Debden, and houses a huge collection of items such as old Royal Mail delivery vehicles and post boxes.

On Saturday, March 31, from 10am to 4pm, there will be a day of family activities, including craft activities and the chance to try on postman’s uniforms and handle equipment.

Booking is not necessary but children must be accompanied by an adult.

Admission is free but there will be a collection for Haven House Children’s Hospice.
