It might be a good idea for all reps to put a disagreement in now.

Pre-empt the "you don't get paid because they are DSA" argument.

Better than first class! Our office used to get two/three days to clear polling cards when they were 2nd Class PPI, but if they're DSA now then I'd presume that won't be allowed. Can't wait to cut off.
The machine stops.

A transient ischemic attack (spelled ischaemic in British English) (abbreviated as TIA, often referred to as mini stroke) is a transient episode of neurologic dysfunction caused by ischemia (loss of blood flow) – either focal brain, spinal cord or retinal – without acute infarction (tissue death). TIAs share the same underlying etiology (cause) as strokes: a disruption of cerebral blood flow (CBF). TIAs and strokes cause the same symptoms, such as contralateral paralysis (opposite side of body from affected brain hemisphere) or sudden weakness or numbness. A TIA may cause sudden dimming or loss of vision, aphasia, slurred speech and mental confusion. But unlike a stroke, the symptoms of a TIA can resolve within a few minutes or 24 hours. Brain injury may still occur in a TIA lasting only a few minutes. Having a TIA is a risk factor for eventually having a stroke or a silent stroke. A silent stroke or silent cerebral infarct (SCI) differs from a TIA in that there are no immediately observable symptoms. A SCI may still cause long lasting neurological dysfunction affecting such areas as mood, personality and cognition. A SCI often occurs before or after a TIA or major stroke.
A cerebral infarct that lasts longer than 24 hours but fewer than 72 hours is called a reversible ischemic neurologic deficit or RIND

Yes, one the current agreements still in force recognises the extra work required to deliver election material such as polling cards and party leaflets. Because of this we get paid various amounts for delivering them. The amount paid is dependent on previous agreements and how they were calculated.

Its extra work above and beyond the norm so we get extra pay for it. One of the benefits from having a strong Union at the time of these particular negotiations.

Ta. We got hit by a pile of leaflets on Monday, plus a heap of letters during the week, - (all from Labour). Along with the DFS d2d this week was the heaviest since xmas, - but looks like more to come. The gardening I'd promised I'd do today is looking less and less likely...

If i'm correct if your a floater you will need to do your quota ie 20% each day or you could be taken down the conduct code.

Well that would be interesting.
My guess is that it will be a return to the old days when we were paid for D2D.
In those days a floater was rarely given the opportunity to earn any extra cash as the walkholder hogged them all.
I bet they manage to deliver all the polling cards.

The CWU/RM position is that the polling cards are delivered by product specification so where does that leave a floater?
If they are DSA shouldn't they all be delivered that day floater or duty holder?
I would imagine there will be no shortage of volunteers to work their day off next week....as long as they get to stay on their own walk.

I imagine the CWU/RM position will be 3 days for the polling cards.

Is there going to be election leaflets to accompany the polling cards?

My position is 3 days....not particularly giving a f**k.
Dom position is 3 days....shitting himself.
DSM position is 1 day....trying to get himself further up the Regional Director's arse.
CWU/RM official position is in line with product specification...which means what exactly?

Only allow one day to do them all.
Don't invest enough hours - looks like a sure recipe for getting one or two on a wilful delay charge.
