I may ask if i can trial one just to see how it works that would be the best place to start :)

you could ask if the new walk has been risk assessed for pouch delivery ,and if so ,has RM abandoned the the principle of weight off the shoulder ,in which case according to best practice old delivery span should apply. This does however contravene the BS2010 agreement

thats exactly right, if it HAS been properly risk assessed, and i strongly suspect that the new walk is to be used with a trolley. if they are telling you to do it using a pouch, then the delivery span is 3.5 hrs tops. chase it up, you,ll probably open a right old can of worms

What happens if you have 40 flats in one block, 5kg wouldn't get very far :arrrghhh

True, but it's not your problem. Until the whole country is reorganized to comply with "pegasus" ,adjustments will have to be made.

Well ive used the trolly on the hardest of my loops, and i have to say i loved it not one bit of back ache !
I used it on the last loop too and will be using it all day tom on all loops to see how it goes
I work out it will add 30 mins on a 4 hr delivery (but that remains to be seen)

I was told its hard to use falls over slows you down really badly ,from what ive seen and done none of it was true for me ,now i know if you have flats its a no no but if you dont i think your mad not using it so much easier on my body at least

Just need to explain to my line manager i need to be out in time to use it or i may be cutting off so well see :)

Used it for the entire walk now still feels easier but it is taking 30 mins longer than walking alone with bag on back
