No trolleys at ours, but there's a postie on my round who works in one of the rural DOs. He's fit as a fiddle. but has has done his back in for the first time. Apparently, all down to having to push a trolley uphill. Says he never had a problem when they just used bags/bikes

It's all the bags he carried in the past catching up with him.

The L does not stand for LIght, it stands for Lugging. Anyone find LUGGING a Suitcase from a Car Park into an Airport easy? Just think of doing that four to five hours a day for the rest of your working life. That is my view against this nonsensical means of delivery.

Probably because you're supposed to pull them.

Either way, they are not fit for purpose.

my p&l partner uses a holdall with built in trolley, rather than the lwt. she reckons it's a lot better.

but she's still a lot slower than me walking with a pouch, though i've no evidence to suggest that the holdall thing slows her down.

Same as, but nice if converted to meet todays delivery demands, or replaced by a cycle fit for purpose.

They no doubt fell off within a mile of the D.O.
My nanna was welded to her trolley, im sure if a humpty backed arthritic old dear can haul one around all day they'd be ideal as a replacement for the lwt
