Are there any MCs that have the Anti-Fatigue mats running
the length of the machine and not just at the destacker
Manager reckons "if they didnt come with the machine
then there's no need for them" WTF To which i replied
The feckin letters did'nt come with it either but it sees
plenty of them. TWAT ! honestly....only in RM

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
Not really Postman CSS machines at GMC are fitted with mats as standard
but not the ILSMs. Saw a picture in January's Courier (honest i did'nt read it all, just a quick flick through)
of an ILSM with full length matting,of course manager
just blanked it when shown the picture, not that i could
expect anymore from him.Probably the cost of matting
will be down to local budget so we've got a fight on our hands
Thanks Postman
nothing regarding anti-fatigue mats on ilsms in any agreement, so yeah it'll be a local thing, no idea why they don't just fit them as standard on a fixed fittings, machinery, letter frames etc
Suggest it as an improvement under the World Class Mail scam
Do it by getting the line painters and poster placing team on board.

RM used to issue quality indoor shoes with suburb rubber soles, I still have a pair from when I first started on processing and wear them whenever I do indoor work. They are really comfy :)
