Well in the field on exercises there was a canvas enclosure with a hole dug as a toilet...........there was also a tendency to pop a thunderflash under the canvas shield as a sort of prank, especially at night, it often cured constipationkrussel wrote:Err what is that thendvbuk55 wrote:a thunderbox

............it was in the 60s and people were much more accepting of dangerous practices in those days. It was common practice to use thunderflashes then........just a big bang, but you wouldn't want to be hold of one when it went off.
