not out till 1 jesus, im not in a revision or that yet, but 1 oclock how long does it take to prep and tye up, i meen seriosly come on

On Wednesday started prepping at 9.00am after an hour prepping another duty, there were 10 trays of sequenced and five trays of flats, then three more trays of the primary came around 11.00am, and also two sacks of packets, three lots of d2d, and 40 redirections for the duty. There were 13 pouches, and the HCT only takes six at a time, the managers wanted me to leave the other seven behind and they would get a driver to drop them off, when I needed them. At which point I said F*ck this, Im cutting off, I'll be out until 7.00pm delivering all that !

The managers were blaming me saying it was taking to long to prep, then they timed me to see how fast I was throwing the letters in, have not got a clue if I passed, as they did not tell me. Jesus you would think they would just admit that they f*cked up by adding to many addresses (especially business address) and did not take into account what it would be like on a heavy day. Anyway I am doing things to the book, and working to my time, let them worry about the mail I am leaving behind

We are pre P&L but preparing, HCT business walks have been given extra walk distance into the delivery span program (from road centre to back of each business), to try and combat the semi-attendence call situation with businesses. You can be struggling to safely hand over mail because staff are busy with customers, nobody is at the till, staff/volunteers are not wearing official uniform etc. and when you have lots of businesses, this can eat many delivery span minutes... Before you even consider the true attendence calls with specials, recorded and standard packets!

Oh great ! Hope we dont get ours in the morning.

Tough day as did not start till 10am and took 5 hours mainly due to packets and 13 rec's which 8 were dockets. Struggling with 6 lots of d2d this week.

Came back at 3pm to find 8 boxes of d2d for next week under the bench

I don't know if there is a bug going around but I reckon people are exhausted now. P & L 6 days a week was bound to take its toll.

I said that at the time, you really need the day off per week in order for your body to try to repair itself, P&L should have meant working less days but longer.

I said that at the time, you really need the day off per week in order for your body to try to repair itself, P&L should have meant working less days but longer.

Totally agree with that as a day off mid week is a god send and really helps

When you get it into your head that this is only a job that they pay you to work x number of hours and you do nothing beyond that.

Disagree mate, not even a part of that has anything to do with the culture of bullying that is rife.

They're only bullying you if you allow them too, the bullying was rampant in my office when we first had a revision but I sorted it out for me by just only working my hours, everything beyond that is up to the managers to sort out and is nothing to do with me, I fully intend on staying in RM for a while and with my attitude I think I may actually make it.
