Hosted Post Office to open (For 2 hours a week)

Post Office Ltd have confirmed that the Newtonhill Post Office service will be re-opening and replaced with a new Hosted Post Office Service.

Following the end of the formal period of public consultation, and having reviewed the small number of comments received which were all in support of the plans the Hosted Post Office service will be introduced at Newtonhill Pharmacy, 1 Skateraw Road, Newtonhill.

The proposed hours of service have been based on actual customer usage of the previous service and Post Office Ltd are confident that operating the service with these opening times will meet the needs of our customers in the local community. Post Office Ltd will continue to review and monitor service on an ongoing basis and should customer usage increase significantly, opening times will be adjusted accordingly.

The new Hosted service, provided by the Subpostmaster from the Laurencekirk Post Office branch, will open on Friday March 16. The new service will operate for a total of two hours per week, on a Friday between 14:00 – 16:00 hours.

We don't want to pay our taxes towards having a first-class postal service, of course not.

Likewise, we don't want our taxes going towards a top-notch, well-armed, well-manned, Army, Navy, Air force, of course we don't.

Likewise, we don't want our taxes going towards a well-manned police force, full of properly trained, properly paid, real coppers, of course we don't.

What we do want though, is for our taxes to go towards Hugo, Tarquin, and Rupert's plans to set up exclusive schools for their precosious brats.

And, how about some of our hard earned taxes going towards Hugo's, Tarquin's, and Rupert's companies in their quest to make the unfortunate unemployed cheap slave labour. Yay, that's what we all want.
Or, is the lack of any meaningful protest, somehow passing me by?
