I have been given an official royal mail start date and just wondered how I go about claiming the tax back overpaid while with angard? Or would I get a rebate automatically with my 1st week royal mail wages? Any help appreciated Ta.

No you won't get it back like that,wait for your 1st pay slip,see what code you've got then phone the tax office up and explain...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Cheers, I wasn't sure as before starting with rm at Xmas I had been in the same job for 17 years and any rebates I got just got added to my wages.
