Unusually light call rate for a Friday and about half the normal packets, but then several yorks of packets were left unsorted and some "non-urgent" letter trays were left untouched, funny how this happened on our final indoor work monitoring day! :hmmmm

Going to be a fun Saturday...

Same as yesterday and the preceding day, hammered with packets and dsa and council mailout. Next week im on the walk with the catalog fraudsters, the granny bashers and the house with the windows shot out. Its all council and i bet the effing council tax A4 inch thick mailouts come in.

Glass half empty? Me? Nah!

What's with the packets? Nearly as bad as Christmas the past few days, I'm taking out a york full each day

Saturday was one of the worst or one of the best depending on your philosophical bent. A letter for every single council house.

Today I completed what I predicted I was capable of delivering within my contract hours with less than the allotted 15 minutes of duty time assigned to sorting out fails items and missorts at the end. I plan to do the same tomorrow, but with a bigger "window" at the duty end, given Tuedays' reputation for signature items.

Fairly light but the story of today will be the final 'breaking in' of my new pair of RM doc martins. The last 20 minutes of my walk almost had me hobbling. Getting them off my feet back at the office was almost as good as great sex.

I feel your pain, I'm also breaking in a pair of DMs. No-one said it would be this hard... actually everyone did.

My maiden post! here goes!
Not long in and a 25hr contract. Hours being lean just now it's back to contract time so need to 2 walk for a few days just to stay still!! Let alone the over time to make ends meet. Night shifts don't throw rounds off and drivers aren't interested in pouch drops that don't suit their schedule. Hey , two walks, light but with a bunch of estates you still have to go up every flight. Clocked out at 6.30pm. Marginally better than being a casual again. The 11.50 finish thing, news to me!

Well after the revision I have been put on a HCT duty this week that is ridiculously long, pegasus, I would say more like Mr ED, it needs its wings clipped as its s**t ! I had 30 recorded deliveries today FFS !!!! out at 10.30am finished at 2.30pm, dreading tomorrow.

By the way HCT does that stand for heavy crap trolley ?
