I have had a couple of letters from Angard requesting me to send a cheque to them as I have been overpaid. I sent them emails back as they had cocked up my hours (even though I probably owe them a couple of hundred quid!)
Has anybody repaid anything?
Cheers

Re: Overpayments: Has anyone paid Angard back?
They have sent 3 weekly 1p wage slips taking my holiday pay out and my hours worked.
Today i look in my bank account and surprise surprise no money ! They owe me 38 hrs and 40 mins.
It just beggars belief - i have worked as a postman and as a casual for many years and angard are fxcking useless.

Re: Overpayments: Has anyone paid Angard back?
Hi,
I received a statement saying I had been overpayed, which I ignored.
Then the week after I received a payslip AND another statement. Someone (probably not Angard as I think RM is involved directly now) actually worked out what pay I should have been paid, gave me a tax refund (I didn't ask for one) and then clawed back the "overpayment".
So, I think I'm all square now - just a P45 to go, then I can wash my hands of the whole affair!

recieved a statement from angard today. doesnot show anything under "payments". but on "deductions" there is a - figure on income tax, and a + figure on net deduction. my total deductions is a - figure. they have then turned that into a + figure for my net pay

Re: Overpayments: Has anyone paid Angard back?
Angard rang me about a week ago. got paid £524 for a weeks work at minimum wage + 6 hours overtime! Got offered by another agency a better job with better hours and a 3 month contract so I took it.
Collected my £350 voucher as not been paid so i thought jobs a good un! Got £175 a week later so i thought theres no way I can keep all this without paying some back.
Spoke to a friend who works at GMB union and she says you shouldnt have to pay a penny back as the £350 voucher didnt state hours worked or anything?
Just keeping money in bank to save on overdraft cost.
Ps Just got back from pub so not sober!!!

Re: Overpayments: Has anyone paid Angard back?
If they pursue me for what they say I owe them, I shall simply present them for an itemised bill for bank charges, phone calls, Internet charges and my own self-employed time for chasing them up and I'm sure it will come to exactly the same amount as they say I owe.
Juuuuuust try it Angard!
