If you read the new transformation agreement document it says 3 new MC closures will be discussed on Monday 13 Feb. It's unlikely that any announcement would be made until a while after the meeting. The office in S Wales, assume that's Swansea as Cardiff could probably take in SA?

DL April/May 2013.

We were supposed to get our 1 to 1 this month but they keep putting it back. Instead we have the option to spk to someone from the planning team. They can't answer the questions you really wont to know but they can ask fecking supid questions like have you been updated about the closure on a regular basis or what can the people who are getting rid of your job do for you more. They visited us last year with dum arse questions and couldn't answer any of my questions then so why are they going through the same bull s**t again.

Probably go to Sheffield with all the other Yorkshire codes???? :)
And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

I thought York was going to Leeds. The extension at Leeds MC is well on the way to completion.
Then either Sheffield or Leeds will close.
There's only 35 miles between them.

"We are reviewing our mail processing operations in Cambridge, Gloucester and Shrewsbury as part of our wider, ongoing review of our mail centre network."
is Royal Mail's way of saying "We shall be ceasing our mail processing operations in Cambridge, Gloucester and Shrewsbury as part of our mail centre rationalisation programme".

In respect of Shrewsbury, our new MCM who has worked at Crewe and Liverpool(good track record there) says he hasn't seen any document referring to the final mail centre estate of 33 Mail centres by 2015.But our outgoing MC had seen the document.

Is it true that a new mail centre is to be built in Bristol?
