No, just went through the motions of "officially informing that the review is taking place"

The decisions about the National Mail Centre Network have already been made. When a review of an individual MC is announced, there is only 1 outcome. The only things that can change relate to Delivery Offices in the area and how employee surpluses are managed. I think Chester will take most of the traffic but Wolves might take TF. Not sure about LD, possibly Cardiff?

Told in a "huddle" tonight that the rumours about Cambridge MC are all false...

Mind you - our MCM was reading from the RM "official press release"

Denied taking ANY questions on the situation and denied any rumours on Ipswich MC as well...
And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

I think the rule for many years has been to deny everything until giving permission to talk about it even if the truth is well known. I don't think it's anything different here. We had the same thing with the review of Shrewsbury do I wouldn't believe what is officially said about Cambridge and Ipswich at the moment
