If they are working the full 8 hours with no break, they are idiots, but entitled to be paid 40 minutes overtime.

It's funny though when you think about it...

If you asked someone to work 8hrs and told them to take 40mins paid break in those 8hrs...and then they came back to you after 8hrs and said they wanted 8hrs 40mins pay....you would tell them to f**k off.

It's just funny.

if a line manager or dom try and flex up compulsory or without agreement by the staff member then refuse and put in a grievance

they cant sack you for willfully not following a managers instruction when the manager has no lawful authority to issue a COMPULSORY DIRECTION against the national agreement

thats bullying and harassment

When you say Cwu are putting up little fight is this your Rep, Area Rep or Div Rep?
