There's not much of it comes into our office on a Saturday and most of it is trayed up and stuck to one side for Monday. What little trickles through to the walks is took - Me and my P&L partner would probably skip less than 10 calls between us out of around 1500 if we left it so we just clear our frames. Early finish on a Saturday is a distant memory with P&L and since I binned off my season ticket for the football it doesn't really bother me - It's just another shitty working day

Now if we could leave DSA in on a Saturday it'd be a very different story :nana :nana :nana

Saturday is mental for DSA. A few weeks ago on saturday every single letter in my first batch of sequenced trays was DSA

These days you may as well take out all the mailsort on Saturdays as if you don't chances are the companies sending it (that haven't already) will switch over to DSA meaning:

* RM gets less money for the item
* You have no choice but to deliver it

Pre-Park & Loop we used to be done on a Saturday for 10.30am,eleven at the latest. Job & finish & all that,so we used to leave all Mailsort in.

Saturday is a normal working day now (for some of us at least) - so everything goes. :whistle
“Shorts,in this weather?!”

“If they’re bills I don’t want ‘em!”

“What’s she been ordering now?”

mailsort 3 used to be advertised on rm website as a monday -friday delivery.since the last agreement i can no longer find it.

we used sort and prep it and only take it where we are going.then the new deal we assumed it had to go as a saturday was supposed to be a normal working week.but it is not in our office.we havnt had the revision.we start 15 minutes earlier and donot get sequance mail on the second run(because they say,we want it earlier).now we are back to leaving it if thats the only thing going.

but not one word to the contrary from management.not that our dim works saturdays.thats his choosen day off

You are so right Cedar Pre D/M's revision you never had to take it, but after Sat is classed as a normal working day(standerdised) so you HAVE to take it, end of, not too many probs with this as what comes in is USUALLY sequenced and as other posters have already stated DSA is the real problem on Sats :wave :wave
