Maybe this is the reason why they must do a return to work interview on the day you return. Under section 2 health and safety act .royal mail have a statutory duty to ensure your safety at work and your health is not compromised by law they must carry out a risk assessment before allowing you back in the workplace ( return to work ) that explains why it's on there forms it must be done on the day you return , so 15 days later in some cases , in my opinion is breaking the health and safety act . Fact is it's theyre duty to do it and they've been shown up to be incompetent . My Dom in the last year as taken over doing the rtw and he does it on the day you return .So we can think into that what we like .
