Old Pensions

Hi all, I was a postman in Hampstead London in the 60's and then a Clerical Officer with the GPO in St Pauls London.

Can any of you guys and gals help me? I reach state pension age later this year and am in the process of sorting out my meagre pensions.

I seem to remember paying Superannuations and wondered if any of you knew how I would go about finding out about them.

I loved my time as a postman in London in the swinging 60's but had to change jobs for better money due to getting wed.

I live in Cheshire now and everyday I see my Postie, Dave delivering mail always in a pair of shorts. I've told him that if I had gone to work in shorts in them days I would have been told in no uncertain terms where to go! I remember wearing heavy woolen trousers that were awful when soaked in the rain.

Better shut up as I am sounding like my dad, who was also a postie.
