Re: POAL --payslip query
Be wary, because POAL has not shown up on our payslips before a few of the lads in our office had been deducted £9 and they had not even reqested POAL let alone received it, and now they are worried as to how long this has been going on for.

Wage deduction
Got my wage slip today and have a deduction of £9.89 under the heading of POAL.
Been trying for the last hour to contact wages dept with no joy.
Anyone got any idea what it means or stands for ?

Re: Wage deduction
Is the AL = Annual leave?
Do you buy extra leave?

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: POAL --payslip query
Is there a way for me to check if I got it ready for next year as the manager told me it is done. But I don't want to rely on his word of mouth.

Re: Wage deduction
it IS 'purchase of annual leave'', its only started being put on payslips of those who buy a/l since the new psp system started.
