ive noticed the cwu are offering the chance to get you lgv licence for 330 quid if you took the course would you get release from work

it's being rolled out on a region by region basis. NW started the initiative, NE and Midlands now moving through the scoping demand stage. I think it is something you should raise through your Regional Learning Committee also.

We're looking to set up a meeting with the provider to flush out details such as, how widely it is available (and whether similar is available in Scotland, N Ireland & Wales), whether there is any limit to the numbers they can put through or, conversely, minimum numbers per location etc. While we're getting that information, Steve and Sally's suggestion that you raise your interest with your ULRs or Regional Learning Committees is a good one and will help us move things forward.

NE region are having a meeting at the end of the month. Details i have managed to get so far are:- only 2 persons a week and more likely to start up in Middlesborough. Was also advised to look at this for an option to leave RF.
