Out of interest, does anyone know what will become of the other postie/innocent victim,he displaces when he moves to his new round in Exeter?

Think Ide is part of Exeter DO, so in the same office anyway.

Yes, indeed, his choice of words in the Ide Times free-sheet could have been better.
The article in question is a load of rubbish. I was never contacted by them and the story is complete lies, the union never forced me out (obviously). I am very happy to start my new job. Don't believe anything the paper's say. They twisted the story to make a nice headline and get at the union. I have no bad feeling with anyone. It's just simply the local residents wanting me to stay and not getting the facts correct. Listen to me , I am looking forward to my new delivery!! No more believing in the rubbish press please

Never mind all that, were you on a round in Exeter before and therefore going back on to a round in Exeter, or did you mean "back in Exeter" just from the perspective of not being in Exeter at the time? These are the important facts we want to know!

Excellent - many thanks for coming on and clearing that up, and apologies if any of my posts offended.
Its nice to see the Express not only printing a story with factual inaccuracies, but also not even checking with the person concerned. Anyone would think the Levenson Inquiry wasn't happening.
Again welcome to the site and thanks for adding some clarity.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
