I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: 400+ revisions?
Well it means you'll get your mail really late which is crap for a business!
But hey customers, at least we are able to cut costs and staff and make the RM more 'efficient'!
Jenson obviously explained that to customers?? Right?

Great! that means there's only 1100 still to go and of those 400 revisions how many are truly complete revisions and not "self starter"?POSTMAN wrote:https://www.myroyalmail.com/mrm/appnews ... aspx?i=515

i wish we still had 1972 managers. 9 times out of ten they were ex-posties. instead of this new breed of shyte and style they have brainwashed into these so called ''wizz kid managers''. they couldnt organise a piss up in a bar.fishtank wrote:...but not management.‘We are bringing everything up to modern standards, including automation, equipment, methods and culture.

Re: 400+ revisions?
The problem with ex-postie managers now is that the job has changed so much their previous experience is irrelevant.
The problem with graduate "wizz-kid" managers is everything they have been taught is irrelevant.
