IWT version 7.4 has been cleared with the CWU

Post by Geezer »

Sent: Thursday, 26 January 2012, 15:09
Subject: IWT Version 7.4

Dear Colleagues,

This is to confirm that IWT version 7.4 has been cleared with the CWU. Unfortunately we were not informed that it had been released and this is being picked up with Royal Mail today.

IWT version 7.4 should not contain any planning values associated with Indoor Flow as these are subject to ongoing discussions. Can you please make sure all Locals reps are informed.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I know it's F%^$ing comical,

More and More unbelievable by the day.

But hey guys, lets not scoff here, think of all the good things the CWU did 10 to 15 years ago. Remember the empire - well the sun has truly set on this shambles of a union - even dingo isn't defending them today. I think ft had the right idea, lets forget about being a force to be reckoned with in the negotiating stakes and just reduce this organisation to a mutual society.

I mean lets be honest - IWT 7.4 has been released but they didn't tell us THIS IS THE NATIONAL NEGOTIATING BODY FFS - how do these muppets think the local rep manages on a daily basis when he is being bombarded with crap from all sides. Yes rep here's the new regime for next week..................if the national body get handed IWT 7.4 and then say it's been cleared by the CWU - what they are really saying is we've been handed the new IWT in which we had no input but it'll be OK.   and yet they say - tell us and go into disagreement!!!!!!!!! If they haven't got the bottle to say NO then what chance have local reps?

What next for this shoddy excuse for a union?

LTB 35/69 1st April 2012

Members may be aware that the 3.5% pay increase due under the 2010 BTA Agreement did not appear in last week's wages.

Unfortunately, we were not informed that the pay rise was not being implemented, and this is being picked up with Royal Mail today.

We're going to write them a strongly-worded letter, and send it via Downstream Access so as to save the membership some money.

OK, it's a fake LTB... but would anyone be surprised if it turned out to be not far short of the mark in three months time ?

Can someone please put a copy of the new IWT on this site so all reps can read it and go into battle prepared. Even a link to the new IWT would be better than we poor sods at the coal face are getting from HQ. Cause lets be honest the DOMs wont read it, so lets have it before they are told to read it. Please.

I find all this talk about IWT quite amusing.
We're not allowed to use any of the versions for fear it might mean extra resources being needed in the DO.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

This is part of the letter Bob Gibson wrote to Rob Jenson on the 5th of December.
Add to this the fact that an unagreed version of the IWT has been introduced and it starts to look like deception from my point of view.
That was over Version7 patch 3.
Now we have the next version being applied in exactly the same deceptive manner and Gibson buckles.
It's obvious how much attention Rob Jenson gave Bob's letter.
Has the Items Per Hour screen been removed?
