I take it everything is rosy in your office you run.

Have you ever been part of a revision of course the IPS has changed ,from what I can gather correct me if im wrong max your office went on a 4 day week.

Have you also not noticed the rise in packets,tracked etc over the last few years in R/M so its not unreasonable to think that he is getting two full yorks of packets thats the norm now.

Just out of curiosity what do you do in R/M are you a PHG,driver,postie and dare I say it ooppps no I want.

Funny weres my post saying job and finish exists I havnt, read it and you will see I said that went many years ago and NEVER really existed.

I am far from living in the dark ages and I have no problems with working my full hours like I do now ,again were have I moaned about working my full hours some how I dont think you will find one.

Just to set the record straight I may well sign in as Exrep but in fact I am the rep of my office as no one wanted the role when I had to resign due to a traumatic event in my life and now that I am getting over that event I have sat in the hot seat ONCE again.

So dont you dare question my abilities as a CWU Representative or a postal worker, I benefit my office and the members I represent but to be honest if I were to write a list of what I have achieved for the cwu members in my office it would end up an epilogue .

I am far from being draconian and I have moved with the business when needed and at times had to take a stand against the business when not agreeing with there changes so please explain why you think I am draconain.

Ive been a bit busy, Ive been told that you should have no more than 24 attendance calls for every 500 call that you have! my partner has over 700 and i have around the same! for you ppl that dont know what attendance calls are, Basically if you have a parcel or sign for item that you have to knock with, This is an attendance call! Right> I Did a count of my attendance calls the other day and i had around 90, They were in my parcel bags! I also did a count of my heavy & large items and i had over 80, That was tracked item in with that 80. on top of this i had 16 Regs. My partners walk also had around 60 attendance call, The count ive given for the regs and the heavy & large and the Regs were for both walks.

Breaking News!!
We have been told the other day that we will be getting walks put back in to are office wednesday to saturday, These are the days that we are struggling the most!

All that me and my other work colleagues want is a workable work load.

The Manager asking all the stupid question, I dont have a problem working my hours wich are 6am till 14.55, My problem is that you carnt get finished in the time given because of the massive work load that we now have to do! And the other think is that yes we do somtimes get around 100 H&l items (Not all the time) most of the time its around 40-60. ive also tryed talking to my manager but as most managers are failed postman that dont have a clue

Max how come your office went in favour of a 4 day week as this meant much larger walks we stayed the same so this wouldnt happen to us ,how long is Mr.C giving you time wise for each packet,how come your rep isnt pushing for these walks to be put back in permanent .Knowing our area rep I would think this is what he would be pushing although things are changing fast daily at the mo.

Similar situ in our office a loop being given 21 mins to do heavy, large,specials when in fact its taking 1hr 30 mins. How many packet counts did you do at the data gathering stage I pushed for 3 it pissed the lads off but it had to be done as the times R/M were picking were relatively light periods . Sounds like your office should go back to the data gathering stage then through all the other stages to get it right.

If your DIM isnt listening to you raise it with the rep as it obvious the time your office has been at this P/L it isnt working .

Good luck matey the job just got a lot harder and tiring if only to be back on two deliveries rrrrrrr the good old days

thanks for getting back to us!
for some reason and i dont no why the 4 day week got in, But it did. everyone that i spoke to never voted for it. I think we are given around 30 min to do are regs and H&l why your partner carrys on delivering using a trolly. The packets are taking some round about 2 hours.The main problem is the parcels in my eyes, More dutys are needed to help out with the round that are getting the most!

If one has gone to the other side he/she can no longer be a Rep... contact Area or Branch

I think Dom Support and PHG are both still CWU represented grades.
Personally would i have them as my rep?..PHG maybe...Dom Support...not a f***ing chance.

Still failing and cutting off happening in my office even though they've added another half dozen part timers to take loops off other walks. The cut offs are cutting off!
