Payment received this Friday
I've been offered a fulltime position at RM (39 hours a week @ 9.68 per hour).
However this friday I've received £432 from Angard for 8 days work before Christmas. I've already been paid £390 for this work. What would you do?
thanks
J

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Payment received this Friday
I got a job there as my father is the DOM of a neighbouring DO.
Just wondering wether to pay this back, they have told me they will credit my account with £218 for this Friday aswell - not sure what this refers to as my start date is not till Feb?
any thoughts?

Contact them straight away - your going from one RM company to another so they will find out, and it won't look good if you have been less then completely honest even if no malice was involved. Also if your father is a DOM I am surprised he has not advised you of this already.Jimmyy wrote:I got a job there as my father is the DOM of a neighbouring DO.

Re: Payment received this Friday
I received a payment of £73.53 today 24/01/2011.
They i owe them £75.75, which i 100% don't as they owe me still over £400, which doesn't include the £73.53 i got paid today.
Its so hard to keep a track of thins, Angard have messed it up badly.
I'm on JSA, money is very tight for me, very tight until this is sorted out i can't touch any of the £343 i have got paid so far by Angard. Worst Christmas ever, those pr**s need to be sacked, its making me so mad.
Anyway got an appointment at my local law centre next week who are going to help me with this issue and at the same time help me fill out the ET1 form, im going to take with me all the emails i have sent, all the letter i have posted by recorded delivery with the receipt that has their tracking numbers, all the papers which say who i spoke to when I got through on the phone to Angard.
I have written a detailed breakdown of the hours i have worked and the gross pay i should have got

Also are you sure that you got the right pay rate? just asking that seems the Angard way to pay lessdipzy wrote:I received a payment of £73.53 today 24/01/2011.

Re: Payment received this Friday
Hi again guys.
New update. Was speaking with my father today, he advised me to keep quiet about the money and that he's put my name down for a PHG course, and he thinks I'm bright enough to get the job.
Does anyone know what PHG means or what it entails?
thanks!
J

this is my Honest opinion on your 4 recent post's,>>>>>>> BULLSHIT
Also, your obviously not bright enough to ask your father what the phg course entails and im assuming he would/should know.
And RE your dad telling you to ignore the overpayment isnt to bright either.
be bright enough and read what TrueBlueTerrier posted above.
