In a "normal" competent working situation you'd likely get the response "You've come to the right place. We don't work FOR Angard ourselves but have being working on their payroll. Sorry, but it's now being handled at xxxx, email xxxxx tel no. xxxx.

but the relationship between Royal Mail, their new recruitment wing Angard and Reed is not normal or competent.

They dont have Angard staff there. They are all REED employees that manage Angard so if you asked for Angard staff they can say they dont have them. If you ask for the staff that look after aspects of Angard payroll you may have had a different response. I believe the person I used to talk to in Andover when I called the now unobtainable REED telephone number was a chap named Joe.

Verging I asked for anyone who worked on, dealt with or communicated with the angard accounts, agency or payroll. I was told they had no one, no one from that office has anything to do with angard......

Well maybe they have been moved for their own safety or it is more likely a case of lies, lies damn lies. They appear to have a new number at REED Andover it is 01264 339 428 (from Reed website) - maybe this would work. Try asking for Joe or Angard payroll and see what they say. Say you want to check if he got your P45 or something - if they ask what you want before putting you through.
