Jon Coates may be better doing some research before printing such a story, could this not be perceived as libellous??

cwu=bosses bitches, we all know they've caved in again and again and again. If there was a competiton for the worst union in history they would win it hands down.

They put the 'forces out' in inverted commas indicating they were quoting someone else so they could claim they were merely quoting Dawn who set up the petition :roll: They're not going to let technicalities get in the way of a good headline, are they?!

"
Expatnl is exactly right:
"It's because he is so well liked that he's being moved."

The Marxists/Fabian Socialists want to DISCOURAGE any kind of indigenous community cohesion, as part of their long-term plan to herd everyone into vegan "eco-cities" linked only by high-speed rail, leaving the countryside as a kind of playground for the "elites", like the hunting reserves of the old feudal lords in mediaeval times.

All the things the villagers like about him are anathema to Fabians and their global plan of "Social Engineering"."

They dont half spew a load of shite, do people really think this?! So someone whos been at the company longer gets a duty in a repick and its part of some conspiarcy?

I dont know why this article annoys me so much but it does. Its just so wrong in all ways.

The CWU are ' making a formal complaint to the paper and the Press Complaints Commission'.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Oooooo that'll tell them - http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2011/ja ... commission" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Express and OK! will no longer be covered by Press Complaints Commission

Still it'll be a day out at the Leveson Enquiry if they play it really well. :chuckle :chuckle

PCC site says http://www.pcc.org.uk/faqs.html#faq1_1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

the complaints process

1. Does the PCC deal with all newspapers and magazines in the UK?

We can formally consider complaints about most commercially available UK newspapers and magazines, provided that they subscribe to our funding body, PressBof. Please note that from January 2010, we are unable to deal with complaints about titles published by Northern & Shell. These titles are: Daily Express; Sunday Express; Scottish Daily Express; Scottish Sunday Express; Daily Star; Daily Star Sunday; OK!; New magazine; and Star magazine. This is due to a funding dispute between Northern & Shell and PressBof. For a full explanation of this, please click here.

Nine times out of ten the new boys are harder workers than the old (fact) and that goes for most companies,so personally i think the repick should be in the order of newest to oldest server or maybe the manager should choose whose is most suited to the duty. He could also take into account workers and shirkers. In every other company you get rewarded for hard work, the royal mail has got the completely wrong mindset. I feel sorry for the customers because they are the one's who suffer,maybe drawn out of the hat would be better maybe once or twice a year ,come on royal mail this seniority is outdated and predjudiced and belongs back in the dark ages, we will only move on when people are treated fairly.

And my little corner.
Full office rotation is the only answer.it would sort out the hundreds of missorts we have on ips each morning due to the old guard remembering which round that address was on twenty years ago,but more importantly it will stop ,again the old guard , bitching and complaining because the round they picked was easy last time but now its THe ABSOLUTE WORST now,in there opinion ,which we have to listen to each morning.thats why the take so long and book so much overtime :Boo hoo!

In the top half mate, but unlike all you other long servers i think that the newer guys are s**t all over and its not right treating people like that, we must all remember what it was like to be pissed about and on top of that not having any saturdays off. These guys have families too and deserve to spend time with them,thats why the company cant progress and move on with these ancient attitudes.Come on guys we are all human beings and deserve to be treated the same no matter what age,service,colour or religion.

Unfortunately It is the reverse in My office.It seems the more time in the job You have done the less You are regarded.Perhaps a new broom sweeps the cleanest? Or is it that We will be costing them a huge pension one day plus six weeks paid holiday a year? I dont think they would try and talk any one out of going part time who was full time.Or are we gettin paranoid :nervous

Ithink you are getting a little paranoid,only 5 years to go for me as i will have paid off the mortgage and then one of these new 4 day week duties will suit me and i will gladly swap my hours with a younger guy to give him the chance to earn a little more,your a long time dead and remember money is not everything its no good having a big pension if your not here to spend it.
So come on royal mail and the unions lets encourage these younger guys and not treat them like s**t and take advantage,to earn trust and respect you must give it.
